a. Processing job applications, in partnership with our clients, on whose behalf Massey Henry are instructed to help fill a job vacancy<\/span>. This means that if you apply for a specific job, Massey Henry may pass your details to the relevant client to proceed with the application and as a result, you may receive further direct correspondence from them.<\/p>\n

b. Searching for relevant candidates for confidential recruitment assignments where Massey Henry\u2019s client is not initially named<\/span>. This means that if Massey Henry believes you are suitable for a specific role, Massey Henry may pass your basic details on to the relevant client. If that client agrees regarding your potential suitability, Massey Henry will then discuss this with you in more detail. You may be initially interviewed for the role by Massey Henry. If successful, you might be invited for an interview by Massey Henry\u2019s client. At this point, Massey Henry will pass further details to the client and you may receive further direct correspondence from them.<\/p>\n

c. Improving the service we offer<\/span>. For example, you may be asked to complete a survey or questionnaire which Massey Henry has created.<\/p>\n

d. For marketing purposes to send you information on our services, newsletters, etc<\/span>. <\/em>Individuals that \u201cOpt-Out\u201d from receiving emails from Massey Henry will be unsubscribed upon request. This is in accordance with Canada\u2019s Anti-Spam Law (CASL).<\/p>\n

Massey Henry may also use this information to enable us to market our services to you as a potential client. Massey Henry may as well invite you to become a candidate in respect of the provision of our services.<\/p>\n

The type of personal data we collect and process<\/span>
\nIn all cases, Massey Henry collects and processes personal data about you, including your name, address, telephone number and email address.<\/p>\n

Candidate<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

If you proceed with a job application, or should Massey Henry consult you about a role, you may be required to submit additional personal data. For example, date of birth, education and career history and curriculum vitae (CV), or resume. Your CV or resume may contain employment history, education, professional qualifications, memberships, details of papers written, references and referees, amongst other things.<\/p>\n

Massey Henry might also collect personal data from third-party databases and other public sources.<\/p>\n

Massey Henry will also collect information about the role being offered and other information provided to us by your organization.<\/p>\n

Source and Referee<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

As well as basic contact information we will also collect information regarding your credentials as a source, details of your relationship\/knowledge of a candidate and your opinions of that individual. We may obtain this information directly from you or publicly available information.<\/p>\n

Consent<\/span>
\nMassey Henry seeks consent for all personal information we collect, use and disclose through information provided to individuals prior to collection, or at the time of collection.<\/p>\n

If you have voluntarily provided personally identifiable information, including but not limited to, your name, title, phone number, or email address (business or personal), you have assumed an implied business relationship with Massey Henry and therefore consented to the collection, use and disclosure of your personally identifiable information as described in this privacy policy. Massey Henry will not use personally identifiable information for any purpose outside of the implied business relationship. Should Massey Henry require personal information for a new purpose, we will contact you to seek consent for that new use.<\/p>\n

We provide access to the Privacy Policy and related procedures to individuals on our Web site. At the written and signed request of an individual, he or she may view or edit their personal information as collected by Massey Henry.
